LYRICS: If I were a boy, Even just for a day. Id roll out of bed in the morning and throw on want I wanted and go. Id drink beer with the guys And chase after girls Id make out with who ever I wanted And never get busted for it Because they would stick up for me
If I were a boy Id think that Id understand How it feels to love a girl And I swear Id be a better man Id listen to her Cuz I know how it hurts When u lose the one you wanted Cuz his taken you for granted And every thing you had got destroyed
If I were a boy I could just turn off my phone and tell her that its broken so shell think that I was sleeping alone Id put myself first and make the rules as I go cause i know that shell be faithful waiting for me to come home if I were a boy I think that Id understand how it feels to love a girl I swear Id be a better man Id listen to her cause I know how it hurts when you lose the one you wanted cuz hes taken you for granted and everything you had got destroyed!
Its a little too late for you to come back Say Its just a mistake think that God would forgive you like that If you thought that I would wait for you, you thought wrong
But youre just a boy You dont understand How it feels to love a girl Someday you wish youre were a better man You dont listen to her You dont care how it hurts Until you lose the one you wanted cuz hes taken you for granted and everything you had got destroyed!
Just To Keep You Satisfied Lyrics You were my wife, my life, my hopes and dreams For you to understand what this means, I shall explain I stood all the jealousy, all the bitchin' too Yes, I'd forget it all once in bed with you Ooo darling how could we end up like this? Oh baby let me reminisce
Oh and when we, woo, stopped the hands of time You set my soul on fire, my one desire Was to love you and think of you with pride And keep you satisfied, oh baby oh baby We could not bear the mental strain Leave you, I laugh at men too Now you see how much you hurt me But if you ever need me, I'll be by your side Though the many happy times we had Can never really outweigh the bad Oh I'll never love nobody like I loved you baby
It's time for us to say farewell, farewell my darlin' Maybe we'll meet down the line It's too late for you and me, it's too late for you and I Much too late for you to cry It's too late for you and me, much too late for you and I It's too late for you and me, much too late for you to cry baby Ah we tried, God knows we tried Now it's too late to live and love and ah it's too late baby It's too late for you and me, much too late for you to cry Oh oh ohhh it's much too late Well, all we can do is, we can both try to be happy
*A very wonderful man played this song while sitting next to me. He said, "I haven't felt this way about someone like you in a very long time." I'm glad he's still strong enough to feel that way after obviously relating to this Marvin song at some point in his past.
Although
the list of performers would be enough for any concert-goer to play
with, PBR is sponsoring “Noize for Toyz.” Comprised of 8 well-known
artists, the beer labeled event is for the great cause called Toys for
Tots. Adult attendees have entrance into a night full of entertainment
by bringing a gift for a child.
The hip-hop rock guitarist, Spree Wilson jumped at the chance to
help the youth while, at the same, snatching a chance to perform for
potential music lovers dealing with hard economic times.
“Especially around the holidays when pockets are low but family love
is high, an event like this is needed,” said by Prema LaNay while
discussing the lineup with Kirk Underwater. “I know those that have not
heard of one or any of us will be satisfied and rewarded for coming out
to support Toys for Tots.”
Gripplyaz, an artist also originating from Atlanta, has been a part
of a few PBR entertainment events. While he holds a sound his own
called “Grip Hop,” the variety of the concert will provide even rock
lovers a treat with the electric vibes of Spree Wilson. The atmosphere
will be provided by Pabst Blue Ribbon at Lenny’s Bar near the
historical Cabbagetown in downtown Atlanta.
Event also brought to you by Video Bean, Black on Black Ent., & Underwater Ent.
